Open Website, select Design in the left rail, then choose Typography, Color, or Spacing. The preview updates as you work, and saved design choices apply across every page of the site.
Choose the typography
Select one of six typography presets: Sans, Serif, Modern, Timeless, Bold, or Subtle. The preset changes the type system for the whole website and saves as soon as you select it.
Start with a color palette
Color presets set every page, surface, line of text, and accent together. Choose Gallery Gold, Linen Sage, Clay, Mist, or Nocturne to apply it immediately.
To make one your own, select Customize on a preset. Give the palette a name, then set Page, Surface, Primary text, Secondary text, and Accent colors with the picker or six-digit hex values. The editor warns about low-contrast combinations without preventing you from saving.
Changes inside the palette editor appear only in the preview until you select Save as custom or Save changes. Cancel restores the currently saved palette. You can save up to five custom palettes.
Saved custom palettes appear above the presets. You can select one, edit and rename it, or delete it. If you delete the custom palette currently in use, Gallery Gold is applied to the site.
Adjust site spacing
- Max Page Width controls how wide page content can grow on a large screen.
- Site Margin controls the horizontal space between blocks and the edge of the screen.
- Base Block Padding controls the vertical space above and below every block.
Drag a spacing slider to preview the result, then release it to save. Select Reset Site Spacing to restore all three controls to Fotarie’s defaults.
Typography, selected color palettes, and spacing are live design settings. Once saved, they apply to the published website immediately; you do not need to select Publish Site. Page and block content still waits for publishing.
