Add a page
- Select Pages in the left rail, then Add.
- Enter a Page title. The URL path fills itself in from the title; edit it if you want something shorter.
- Select Add page.
Your Home and Portfolio pages are fixed — they cannot be renamed at the address level or deleted, because the rest of the site points at them.
Build the page
Select a page to open the editor, then drag blocks onto the canvas and edit them in place. These are the blocks available:
- Hero — a large opening image with an eyebrow, heading and body.
- Text — an eyebrow, heading and body, with no image.
- Image — a single image with a caption.
- Services — a heading and a list of what you offer, one per line.
- Contact call to action — a real inquiry form (see below).
- Portfolio index — lists your portfolios.
- Spacer / divider — breathing room, with an optional line.
Edits save on their own a moment after you stop typing. If a save fails, Fotarie keeps your draft and tells you, so you can retry rather than lose the work.
The contact form
The Contact call to action block is a working inquiry form, not a mailto link. Visitors fill in their name, email, and message, plus optional phone, event type, preferred date and location, and the inquiry arrives in your studio. You can change the button label; it reads “Send inquiry” by default.
The form is deliberately disabled inside the editor, so you cannot send yourself test inquiries by accident. Use your published site to try it.
Page settings
Select the pencil beside a page in the rail to open its settings:
- Page title — the name of the page.
- URL path — the address it lives at. Fixed on Home and Portfolio.
- Show in navigation — whether the page appears in your site menu. Turn it off for pages you want to link to directly.
- SEO title and SEO description — what search engines show. Leave the SEO title blank to use your page title. Leave the SEO description blank and Fotarie uses “<Page title> page for <Your studio>”.
Select Save settings when you are done. Pages you added yourself can also be removed here with Delete page.
