Set up Studio templates

Save your common services, agreements, and questions so each booking packet starts with less repetitive work.

Templates are starting points. When you use one in a booking packet, Fotarie copies it into that job so you can make client-specific changes without rewriting the original.

Add your services

  1. Open Studio, then Templates, and stay on Services.
  2. Select Start from a sample to begin with a common photography offering, or Add service to write your own. Adjust the name, price, description, and duration before saving.
  3. It is now available through Add from catalogue when you build a quote. If you have not saved any services yet, the quote step also offers Fotarie samples for that packet only.

Edit a service when your normal offering changes. Archive one you no longer sell; packets and invoices that already used it keep their original wording and price.

Create a contract template

Open Contracts and either add your own agreement or start from Fotarie’s photography services sample. Use the merge-field buttons for details such as the studio, client, job, session date, and quote total. Fotarie fills those fields from the job when the packet is built.

A sample contract is a writing aid, not legal advice. Review it for your business and location, and replace every highlighted [[placeholder]] before using it.

Create a questionnaire template

Open Questionnaires and select Add questionnaire, or start from a sample. Questions can ask for short text, long text, a date, one choice, or several choices. Reorder them and mark the answers the client must provide.

Check currency and tax defaults

Owners can open Settings, Organization, then General to set the Default currency and Default tax rates. New packet quotes start with those choices, and you can still change them for one client before sending.
