Create and send a booking packet

Build one client link containing the quote, agreement, and planning questions needed to book a photography job.

A booking packet keeps the client’s booking steps in one place. Include a quote, contract, questionnaire, or any combination of them; at least one section is required.

Build the packet

  1. Open the job and find Booking packets, then select New packet.
  2. On Quote, add services from your catalogue, start from a Fotarie sample when the catalogue is empty, or write custom lines. Check quantities, currency, tax rates, and the total.
  3. On Contract, choose a template and adjust the agreement for this job.
  4. On Questionnaire, choose a saved template or a Fotarie sample when you have none yet, then keep, edit, reorder, or remove questions for this client.
  5. On Review, add an optional Intro message and Expires on date. Check the summary, then save the draft.

A draft is private and editable. Once activated, its client-facing contents are frozen so later template or service changes cannot rewrite what you sent.

Deliver it to the client

Select Send packet. Choose Email client to have Fotarie email the job’s primary contact, or Activate and copy link to send the secure link through your own conversation.

The client follows only the steps you included: accepting the quote, signing the agreement, and completing the questionnaire. They can return through the same link if they need to finish later.

Follow the packet from the job

  • The job shows whether the packet is draft, sent, viewed, completed, expired, or voided, plus each included step’s progress.
  • When every required step is complete, the job moves to Booked and the contact becomes a client.
  • A completed packet has a PDF containing the included quote, signed agreement, and submitted answers.
  • Use Copy link or Resend email while the packet is active. Void packet closes the client link but keeps the studio’s record.
