Organize jobs and sessions

Move work across the Jobs board, schedule each shoot, keep an activity history, and connect the finished galleries.

Create and move a job

  1. Open Jobs and select New job.
  2. Give the job a name and choose its Primary contact — or Add contact if they are not in your directory yet. Type, Owner, and Location are optional.
  3. Select Create job to open its working record.

The board groups active work into Inquiry, Booked, Post-production, and Completed. Drag a card to another lane, or use its stage menu when you prefer. Cancelled work stays in a separate view so it does not crowd the active workflow.

Use the job page to update the Primary contact — or Add contact if they are not in your directory yet — plus owner, type, location, and internal notes. The activity section records important changes and client document progress, giving you a simple history of the job.

Add a booking session

  1. From the job, find Booking sessions and select Add booking session. You can also start from Bookings, then Sessions or Calendar.
  2. Choose the date, start time, duration, and timezone.
  3. Select Add booking session.

Use Sessions for a searchable list that is easy to edit, or Calendar for a month view and mobile agenda. A job can have more than one session, which is useful for engagements, rehearsals, multi-day events, or separate consultations.

Connect the gallery

In the job’s Galleries section, link a gallery you already created or select Create gallery. Linking does not copy or change the gallery; it gives the job a direct path to the delivered photographs.

Booking sessions are scheduled by your studio. Fotarie does not currently give clients a public availability page or sync sessions to an outside calendar.
