A gallery is one shoot. Everything else — photos, sets, the cover, the password, the link you send — lives inside it. You can create as many galleries as you like on every plan, including Free.
Create the gallery
- Open Galleries and select New gallery. If this is your first one, you can also use Create gallery on the Get started card.
- Enter a Gallery name. This is what your client sees at the top of the gallery, so use the name they would recognise — “Harper & Nadia — Wedding”, not “2026-05-04 final”.
- Choose an Event date. This is optional, and it is used for sorting and filtering your gallery list.
- Select Create.
Fotarie opens the new gallery straight away, on the Photos tab, ready for you to upload.
Set an expiry date, if you want one
In the create dialog you can turn on Expire gallery and pick an Expiration date and Time (optional). If you leave the time blank it defaults to 11:59 PM in your current timezone.
Expiring a gallery only ends your client’s access. Your photos and videos stay in your account, and you can revive the gallery later by changing the date and publishing it again.
